Weil ICE 1724 aus München mit ca. 25 Minuten Verspätung und ICE 73935 aus Berlin Gesundbrunnen (im Bild) mit ca. 5 Minuten Verspätung unterwegs war, begegneten sich beide in Saalfeld. So wurde also ICE 73935 über Gleis 5 zur Durchfahrt in Richtung München geleitet. (07.05.2009)
