Für mich ein klein wenig überschärft das Bild, siehe Treppchenbildung an der Fahrleitung.
@Olli wie das kommt, daß das Speichenräder sind? Einfache Antwort: weil man sie eingebaut hat.

The machines composing the class E630 arrived in Italy at FNME in the second half of '90s, coming from CSD (Class ES499.3 / 163)

@Kay: Vielleicht verdient ja eine dumme Frage eine dumme Antwort. Ich spezifiziere daher die Frage genauer: Gemeint war, was der Sinn des Einbaus dieser teueren Räder ist oder war, das hast Du nicht beantwortet.

I know that spokes wheels are fitted on each E630, as well as on the most of class 163 I saw in the respective folder here on Bahnbilder.
I really don't know why.
