Toronto Union Station - Bahnhofshalle
Der Bahnhof wurde 1927 eröffnet und von der Canadian Pacific Railway und der Grand Trunk Railway gebaut.
Der Name "Union Station" kommt übrigens daher, dass in einem Bahnhof unterschiedliche Gesellschaften halten.
Die Union Station in Toronto ist einer der größten Nicht-Kopfbahnhöfe Nordamerikas und verbindet heutzutage die Nah-Umgebung Torontos (GO Transit), Ontario (Ontario Northland Lines nach Cochrane), die Region Ost-Kanadas mit Zügen Richtung Ottawa, Montréal, Windsoe und Niagara Falls (VIARail) sowie transkontinentale Ziele wie Vancouver (The Canadian) und New York (The Maple Leaf, beide VIARail).
