Unweit des One World Centers und Ground 0 Memorial wurde der 4 Milliarden $ teure Bahnhof nach Plänen vom spanischen Architekten Santiago Calatrava (Zürich Stadelhofen) errichtet. Die gigantische Bahnhofhalle, Oculus genannt, beherbergt auch eine unzählige Zahl von Einzelhandelsgeschäften. Die PATH Gesellschaft, zum Teil unterirdisch, verbindet Manhattan mit den Stadtteilen westlich des Hudson River. (06.10.2017)
