Chicago, Burlington & Quincy 4-6-4 No. 3003 sits at the Burlington, Iowa depot since 1961. It was mostly used for passenger service. A sand tower is displayed next to the lok. Feb 2010. (al imagen) 

Bleibt die Hoffnung, dass die Loks über Vielfachsteuerung verfügen, sonst langweilen sich acht Lokführer zu Tode.

BNSF 9906 pulls an empty coal train through the Burlington, Iowa yard and is now about to cross Main Street. Both engineer and conductor are visible as the lower ditch lights are alternating flashing while the horn sounds. (al imagen) 

A powerful engine, Brent! Interesting US pictures.

BNSF 5876 sits at the siding near the depot in Burlington, Iowa on 27 Feb 2006. Only a minor stain from the diesel on the silver paint of the fuel tank would suggest that this lok has been on the road only a few weeks, especially when compared to the unit it is coupled to! (al imagen) 

BNSF 5757 rests quietly at the siding near the Burlington, Iowa depot as its coal train is being unloaded at the generating plant south of town. In this 22 Aug 05 the lok appears to be fresh out of the box! (al imagen) 
