Seit 1977 ist der Dieselbetrieb auf der Gäubahn historisch. 218 476 stellt die Illusion mit dem Wegmannzug der EFZ wieder her. Eine 218 mit 3-5 Silberlingen war einst Eilzugstandard. Rottweil, Oktober 2024.
Ganz historisch? Nein, der Ringzug dieselt seit 21 Jahren fleissig unter Fahrdraht.
