Der Testzug ETR 500 Y1 „Aiace“ der Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) im Bahnhof Padova am 27. Juli 2022. Dieser ETR erreichte am 3. Februar 2009 auf der Hochgeschwindigkeitsstrecke Bologna–Florenz mit 362 km/h den offiziellen italienischen Geschwindigkeitsrekord für einen ETR 500. 

Der FS Treniatlia ETR 500 052 verlässt den Bahnhof von Milano Centrale pünktlich um 14:30. Das Ziel des Zuges: Regio di Calabria Centrale, wo der Frecciarossa nach einer langen Fahrt von gut 1250 km um 23:53 eintreffen wird. Auch wir waren unterwegs in den Süden Italiens, doch unsere Route führte über eine etwas anderen Weg... 27. Februar 2026 
